Climate Emergency: A 26-Week Transition Program for Canada by Guy Dauncey FRSA, PIBC (Hon)

We recommend you first download Climate Emergency: A 26-Week Transition Program for Canada.

Guy’s relentless focus and integrity on solutions and not the doom and gloom is a role model for us all. It certainly seems to be how he stays optimistic.

We are transitioning out of the fossil fuel economy into a New Ecological Civilization which will be powered by the sun and other truly green technologies for the next billion years. Guy’s explanation about how the world we are about to enter would never have been possible without fossil fuels is enlightening. He opened our imaginations to many things that must be done and gave us a possible road map to get there, and it includes a predictably rising price on carbon pollution.

A gentle reminder that the views of our guests are not necessarily our views
One of CCL’s Core Values is Integrity and we listen carefully.  The call this month with Guy Dauncey and our January call with Dr. Dianne Saxe were to help us prepare to lobby in Ottawa.

Our lobbying focus is 100% on improving Canada’s carbon pricing policy. But we are not myopic. Thus, we really appreciate you all taking the time to open your imaginations to the grand overview of what can be done in Canada.
