Every dollar you invest in Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL), a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, and Citizens’ Climate Education (CCE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is used to build political will for a liveable world. Our work is primarily funded by individual donors and foundation grants. We take pride in the judicious use of every donation to ensure citizens have a voice and impactful climate policies are passed.

Educate on climate advocacy and solutions

We provide educational trainings and materials to ensure our volunteers have what they need to be successful in their climate advocacy.

Mobilize climate action

We mobilize our volunteers to write letters to the editor, participate in tabling events and town halls, solicit endorsements from business leaders, and educate elected officials on climate solutions.

Pass climate legislation

We support our volunteers to lobby for strong climate policies – ones that reduce pollution, create jobs, and improve public health. We recently helped pass the biggest climate bill in American history, the Inflation Reduction Act.

We can’t solve climate change alone

Congress needs to know that the people they represent are concerned about climate change and want solutions. Our volunteers are trained and organized to effectively build political will and get climate policies passed.
